Delete your data

You are in control. Here is every way to remove your data and our access.

In the app

Open Kovert Watch, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account. This removes your account and the data listed below from our systems straight away, tells your car to stop sending data to us, and removes access for anyone you shared your car with.

By email

Cannot open the app? Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my data". We may ask you to confirm it is you. We will confirm once it is done.

Stop access at Tesla

You can also cut off Kovert Watch from your car directly, with no help from us:

On the car: Controls, then Locks, find Kovert Watch in the keys list, and remove it.
In your Tesla account: open your account's third-party apps or security settings and revoke Kovert Watch.

What gets deleted

Data	Result
Account, settings and schedules	Deleted
Tesla access tokens	Deleted, and the connection to your car is cut
Event history and approximate locations	Deleted
Push notification address	Deleted
Backups	Removed as backups roll off, within 14 days
Subscription	Not cancelled by deleting data. Cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions.
Records we must keep by law	Kept only as long as the law requires
